Learn how to find UAN number online through the official EPFO portal. Step-by-step process to know your UAN using Aadhaar, PAN, or mobile number in 2025.
What is a UAN Number?
UAN stands for Universal Account Number, issued by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
It’s a 12-digit unique number that helps you:
Manage multiple PF accounts
Transfer or withdraw PF money online
View your passbook anytime
Update KYC details
Every employee who contributes to EPF automatically gets a UAN
Step 1: How To Find UAN Number Online Search “EPFO” on Google
or EPFO Official Website Click here
First, open Google and search for EPFO.
After searching, you’ll see a list of results.

Now, click on the first official link that appears — it will take you to the EPFO official website.
Step 2: How To Find UAN Number Online Go to “For Employees” Section
Once you’re on the homepage of the EPFO website, you’ll see a menu option called “Services.”
Click on Services, and from the dropdown options, you’ll find one called “For Employees.”

Click on For Employees to continue.
Step 3: Open “Member UAN / Online Services”
Now, a new page will open for employee services.
Here, look for the link that says “Member UAN / Online Services (OCS / OTCP)”.

This will take you to the UAN member login page.
Step 4: Click on “Know Your UAN”
Once the UAN member page opens, scroll down a little.
You’ll find an option named “Know Your UAN.”

Click on Know Your UAN to proceed.
Step 5: Enter Your Details
After clicking, a new page will open where you can find your UAN number.
Now follow these steps carefully:
- Enter your Aadhaar number
- Type the captcha code shown on the screen
- Click Request OTP
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile
- Fill in your Name, Date of Birth, and choose any one of these —
Aadhaar Number, or
PAN Card Number, or
Member ID
Then click on Show My UAN.
✅ Step 6: Get Your UAN Number
If all your details are correct, your UAN number will appear on the screen.
You can note it down or take a screenshot for future use.
