Salary : Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) ranging from Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/-, along with Grade Pay and other allowances as applicable under ‘The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019.

Elegibility Criteria For DEE LP UP Teacher 2025

Nationality : Indian

Age Limit : A candidate should be at least 18 years old and not older than 40 years as of 1st January 2025.

Age Relaxation : The age relaxation criteria for various categories are outlined as follows

01 .Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
02 .OBC/MOBC: 3 years
03 .SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
04 .Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years

Small Family Norms :According to the government policy on Small Family Norms, individuals with more than two living children, born on or after 01/01/2021 from one or more partners, are not eligible for appointment

Medium of instruction : Candidates applying for ATET and CTET must ensure that either their Language-I or Language-II matches the medium of instruction of the school they wish to apply to.

ATET/CTET Qualification : Candidates who have successfully cleared the ATET/CTET for Lower Primary or Upper Primary are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification : The educational qualifications required for each post are listed below.

LP Assistant Teacher Qualification : Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent). Additionally, passing the Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary School is required.

UP Assistant Teacher Qualification : Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent), along with a degree from a UGC-recognized university. A 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent) or a Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Elementary Education is required. Additionally, candidates must have passed the Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Science Teacher UP Qualification : Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and hold a B.Sc. degree from a UGC-recognized university. A 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent) or a Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Elementary Education is required. Additionally, candidates must have passed the Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Hindi Teacher Qualification : Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and be a graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from a UGC-recognized university. A 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent) or a Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Elementary Education is required. Additionally, candidates must have passed the Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.
