MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification :
A. Broad Speciality:
Applicants must hold a Postgraduate degree such as MD, MS, DNB, or MDS in the relevant discipline from an institute affiliated with a recognized Indian university. The qualification must be acknowledged by the National Medical Commission (NMC)—formerly known as MCI—or by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) / Dental Council of India, as applicable.

This applies to the following departments:
Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Microbiology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, General Surgery, Community Medicine (SPM), TB & Chest (Pulmonary Medicine), and Nuclear Medicine.

🔹 For Anatomy, candidates must possess MS in Anatomy or MSc in Medical Anatomy along with a PhD in Medical Anatomy.
🔹 For Biochemistry, the required qualification is MD in Biochemistry or MSc in Medical Biochemistry with a PhD in the same field.
🔹 For Physiology, applicants should have MD in Physiology or MSc in Medical Physiology, along with a PhD in Physiology.

A Post Graduate qualification MD/DNB in General Medicine for Medical Super Specialty
(Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Neuro Surgery, Medical Oncology)
A Post Graduate qualification MS/DNB in General Surgery for Surgical Super Specialty
(Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neuro-Surgery, Urology, Paediatric Surgery)
